About Collen

Collen Hammon-Hogan, the founder of Drawing with Collen, has been drawing ever since he was a child, his parents encouraging him to draw murals on the walls of his bedroom. He received his professional education at the Academy of Art, graduating with a degree in fine art in 2006.

He began to give drawing lessons as a way to fund his art, and his growing passion for teaching brought him to found 'Drawing with Collen.'

Collen's teaching style combines his classical training with a patient, warm approach. His ability to help his students understand complex concepts with simple instruction has garnered him a loyal following of devoted students. He is excited to be offering private drawing lessons to persons in the San Francisco Bay Area who share his love of art.
